Food Photography

Two years ago, when I first started blogging about food, I had no idea what I was doing with a camera! Slowly over time I became more skilled and was able to strongly improve the quality of my photos. Nonetheless, I still wasn’t completely sure why my photos came out the way they did- or what made them good. So I decided to create a series to figure that out, and hopefully, in the process, teach others how to improve their food photography skills and achieve higher quality photos. In terms of tools, I shoot with a Canon T2i Rebel, with a 50 mm lens. I use Helene Dujardin’s book Plate to Pixel as a guide to this series.

Check out previous posts below and feel free to email me if you have any specific photography questions, or would like me to cover a particular area in my posts. I adore assisting my readers!
