Salted Caramel Chocolate Chip Bars

Hello! Apologies for the lateness of my post today. I had a whirlwind of a weekend, and began Monday a little bit behind. But it was all completely worth it because I spent the whole weekend at Blogshop!! For those of you not familiar, Blogshop is a a photoshop workshop for bloggers put on by the brilliant Bri Emery and Angela Kohler. I can’t even begin to tell you how much I learned. My mind is completely buzzing with all things Photoshop and I’m thrilled to bring all my new skills to Channeling Contessa! Above is a little sneak peak of what I picked up, inspired by a batch of salted caramel chocolate chip bars I made for a dinner party this weekend.  They were a huge hit with everyone, so I can’t recommend this recipe enough.

Much more to come later this week, hope yours is off to a great start!

Salted Caramel Chocolate Chip Bars from Two Peas and Their Pod

I followed this recipe pretty much exactly and the bars came out perfectly, so I recommend doing the same.  The only change I made was after the bars cooled on the counter, I place them in the fridge for a few hours to firm up before cutting.  I also used half & half instead of heavy cream, since I had it on hand. Enjoy!  Recipe here.

My goodness do these look good! Perhaps I should wait and make these after our vacation to Arizona when I don’t need to look good in a swimsuit. :)
