Home At Last

Four plane rides, 2 rental cars, and 5 different beds later, I arrived home yesterday afternoon.  Sixteen days is a long time to be away, so I couldn’t be happier to be back in our apartment.  A combination of work and play, the trip has left me somewhat burnt out and craving routine.  Just a few hours after we got home I headed straight for the grocery store and stocked up so we could enjoy dining in all week.  I have many meals to talk about in the coming days, but first I couldn’t not share a few photos from our travels.  The latter half of my trip was spent in Colorado, partaking in a week long slew of wedding activities for one of Brandon’s dear childhood friends.  The wedding and all events leading up to the big day were a blast.  Both Brandon and I are going through a bit of social withdrawal not being around all the great friends we hung out with from sun up to sun down for 5 days straight.  Thankfully we have some great photos!

{Fly fishing inspired sheet cake at the rehearsal dinner.  Note- I have a serious love for sheet cake.}
