I’ve learned that one thing that makes such a big difference while entertaining is candlelight. It’s such an easy finishing touch, and makes any home seem so much more welcoming and cozy. I love the idea of a setting with all white accents, really letting the candlelight shine while making dramatic shadows. I love pumpkins in all forms, but painting them white makes them a bit more elegant.
This menu is completely inspired by a recent dinner party I was at, so you can rest assured that it’s delicious together! I don’t think there’s any dish more perfect for fall than french onion soup, and even better when served with an arugula, butternut squash, and quinoa salad, and pear crisp for dessert.

Wow, these all look beautiful, especially the table full of candles and the soup bowl!
