Italy Part III: The Food

The BEST bruschetta I’ve ever had.

Good morning! How was your weekend? Mine was a whirlwind of catch up meals with friends, work for the blog (we shot the next event for this series!), and some much needed house cleaning. My bathroom is sparkling, in case anyone would like to come over.

Today I’m sharing the last edition of photos from our trip. The trip feels so far away at this point, but looking at these photos brings me right back. Fair warning- this post is going to make you want one big plate of pasta. I’m longing for a steaming bowl of Bucatini All’Amatriciana, my favorite dish of the trip, right now! Recipe to come soon on that one. And since I’m long overdue for some recipes in general, I’ve got two oh so fall ones comin’ at ya later this week. Hope your week is off to a good start!

  3. I’m pretty sure food is the main reason I love to travel! I love trying all the different flavors. The next place I want to go is Thailand, I think I would be in heaven!

    • Oooh me too! You read my mind. I went to Asia last year and had amazing food but didn’t hit Thailand. Next on my list!

I loved every single thing I ate while in Italy — everything was simply so fresh, delicious, and covered in olive oil… What on earth could possibly be better?

As for the bruschetta… I ordered it simply as a meal on multiple occasions. No judgments – it’s addicting.

You’re right…I am craving a big plate of pasta, and it is 10pm, AND I just ate a huge Thanksgiving meal! I think I am going to come back from my trip to Italy 10 pounds heavier!
