CC at Home: Hooked Up

Bag Hook w/ current fave accessory | Grocery bag that holds all our disposable bags

Hi guys! We’re currently in the air on our way home from Italy. The trip was amazing but I’m really excited to get back into our normal life (which I think is the sign of a good vacation). Before our trip I snapped a few photos of the inside of our closets to share a home organization method I’ve been really into as of late. Over a year ago, I showed you guys a photo of my “bag hook,” the hook placed on the inside door of my front closet where I store the bag I’m currently carrying. I’ve taken those interior hooks to the next level and now added them to every closet in our apartment!

In the top photo you still see my bag hook on the left, but I’ve now added a scarf- something I always have in my bag in the fall, but the same one tends to remain in my bag. My box of scarves is literally three feet from the hook, so my goal is to rotate out scarves and other accessories and keep them tucked over the bag handle so they get more use. Inside the other closet door hangs a disposable grocery bag with all my other grocery bags tucked inside. This bag hook is a dream- it keeps all those pesky bags from ending up all over the floor of my closet.

Brandon’s Bag Hook | Sink Cabinet Hook for rubber gloves

In the above photo on the left we have Brandon’s bag hook, because of course he needs one, too! And on the right is one of the most brilliant home organization ideas I’ve ever had. My mom got me hooked on wearing rubber gloves when I wash dishes to keep my hands from drying out. Since I use them all the time, I needed a way to conveniently store them underneath the sink. Enter rubber glove hook. I placed the hook on the inside of the cupboard and just snipped a small hole in the corner of each glove.

His & Her Gym Clothes Hooks

And lastly, his and her gym clothes hooks. I like the let gym clothes dry out before throwing them in the hamper, but hate having them draped all over the apartment. Now we both have a convenient and conspicuous spots to store them after our workouts. Love this!

The neat freak in me revels in all of these hooks. I just use Command brand, which is pretty inexpensive.  Do you have any cheap organization tricks?

Great idea! I love cool organization options like this. Luckily, the house that I recently moved into already had hooks like this on the back of every closet and cupboard door!
