Mother’s Day Gift Guide

You guys… I really love Mother’s Day. I swear, not a week goes by where I don’t think (at least once), “What would I do without my mom?” She truly is my rock, I depend on her a lot. So I’m thankful for a day where I have the excuse to shower her in some extra love and attention.

This year I have some fun in the works (don’t worry, Mom- it’s not a surprise party), but for my May Idea Book on Houzz I decided to pull together a variety of gifts that any mom would love. I’m particularly smitten with the ones pictured above. Number one is actually a flowering oregano plant, how gorgeous is that? The second, La Salamandra’s Dulce de Leche, is some straight up indulgence- my mom and I both love anything in the caramel family. I know she would adore a little jar to have on hand to spoon over vanilla ice cream. The third is a milk frother for making decadent lattes at home. Number four is a handless cup from the Plaza Line at Heath Ceramics. Have you heard of Heath Ceramics? I discovered them recently and am completely enamored with their gorgeous dish ware- I think any mom would be, too! Number five, also from Heath Ceramics, is a set of Napoli Vintage Napkins. I don’t think you can ever have enough crisp clean linens, and I’m confident any mom would agree. Number six is some Pink Himalayan Salt. I love the look of the pink crystals in comparison to regular sea salt. And last but not least, a little relief for those hands which have made countless dinners and washed mountains of dishes- some meyer lemon hand lotion. When it comes to soaps and lotions, my mom loves clean natural scents, so I think this meyer lemon one would be the perfect fit.

What do you guys have up your sleeve for Mother’s Day? I’d love to hear your ideas!
